“We had the pleasure of meeting the Administrator of Windsor Elk Grove. We then could clearly see that this compassionate, easy to talk to, caring individual, was probably responsible for a lot of the hiring and coordinating to make things as good as they are for the care of my mother and so many others. We rate Windsor Elk Grove as the best of the best skilled nursing care facilities, both short and long term. It should be understood that no one is paying us to write this review. We are writing it to let anyone out there know that if you are looking for the best care for your loved one, at a skilled nursing facility, don’t look any further. Go to Windsor Elk Grove and look around the facility. We thank God we were led there.” – Cheryl G.
“My grandfather was admitted to this facility in 2014 because of a fractured bone in his hip and other complex medical condition with dementia. Admitting nurse is good and very polite in answering all my queries. The BEST part here are the therapists, they made my grandfather walk again and transition to our home despite his dementia and difficulty to engage because of his behavior and can become rude. This is why I gave this facility a 5 STAR, in the hospital and other facility my grandfather doesn’t participate but with their rehab they got to involved the patient and the family. I was there during my grandpa’s therapy and recovery and the PTs are very exceptional, knowledgeable and skilled compared to other facility that we’ve been to make my grandfather bring back to his feet again. They even went to our house to check/assess for safety before being allowed to go home, for this I think is going beyond what is being taken cared of in the nursing home and commend this place for that. Very professional and fun rehab/nursing TEAM.” – Richard T.
“My mother in law stayed here for almost two months. She came from Methodist Hospital, 3 weeks in ICU and 6 days in step down unit. My wife have to request discharge from Methodist because she was not receiving the appropriate rehab as status post stroke patient. She stayed for 6 days in Methodist Step Down Unit with Rehab but was never up in a chair, her first day at Windsor she was given a shower, up in a chair and ready for rehab. She was admitted as total assist chair bound resident and was discharge as limited assist ambulatory. Rehab and Nursing combined Holistic approached in providing quality care really made miraculous progress to her. Our family is very thankful to the Management and Staff of Windsor Elk Grove. They all deserved to be a 5 star facility.” – Raul O.

“Dear Dr. Mohanray and Windsor staff,
Thank you very much for all the loving care you gave Roger! The past year and a half Roger and I spent in your facility was very special to both of us. You made Roger feel comfortable and at peace in his fragile state of health. He had been ill for many years. I will never forget how at home you made him feel. Your sweet smiles warmed our hearts. Thank you again for everything.”

Dear Mr. Price,
On behalf of Kaplan College, I would like to offer my thanks to you and Windsor Elk Grove, for extending your facility to our Term 3 nursing students these past 8 weeks. We have felt most welcomed by you and your staff during our clinical rotation. Everyone we’ve encountered has made it a priority to ensure that the students have had a well rounded learning experience. Some of the students are also working as CNA’a in other facilities and they have expressed how impressed they are with Windsor on several occasions, most especially with your “cookie” meeting. I have seen genuine care and respect in the way all of your employees interact with the residents-even those who are involved in maintenance, food service and house cleaning have a caring attitude while they carry out their daily work.
– Warm Regards – Lesley A. – Clinical Nursing Instructor –
